Renovo Fire Department-Emerald Hose and Ladder Company-Renovo EMS

The Renovo Fire Department- Emerald Hose and Ladder Company- Renovo EMS is the result of  a successful merger between The Renovo Fire Department, Emerald Hose and Ladder Company, and the Fireman's Ambulance Service Team (FAST AMBULANCE) all geographically located within the Renovo Borough. The completion of a merger between the three entities resulted in the official legal name of Renovo Fire Department-Emerald Hose and Ladder Company- Renovo EMS INC. The name most commonly known, and used in the day-to-day operations is Renovo Fire Department- Renovo EMS, or Renovo Fire Department Inc. RFD-REMS is located at 230 11th Street, Renovo Pa 17764, where it operates out of a 6 bay, 2 story fire station. The fleet consists of two Ford E450 Ambulances, one of which operates 24/7 as a Mobile Intensive Care Unit. RFD added Advanced Life Support services to its licensure June, 9th 2023 for the very first time. MICU 29 responds first due to more than 550 sq. miles in Western Clinton County, Mutual-aid to Cameron County, portions of ELK county, Potter County, and Clearfield County. The operation is staffed using a mixed staffing model, for its primary 911 response EMS unit, and continues to respond with a fully volunteer EMS crew to cover 2nd due emergencies in the Greater Renovo Area.
